Almost all the successful retailers of fashion accessories are endowed with the knack of accurately forecasting the newer trends in fashion. Since their consumers are seeking to be different in their styles and attitudes, they will demand more of creativity in their designs. It is not unusual for top designers to routinely conduct surveys prior to designing and producing their seasonal lines. The big retailers also consult analysts and forecasting specialists prior to taking the stuff for sale in stores. It would be interesting to know how the independent boutique retailer gets to have access to some of the valuable industry information and trend predictions.
One of the sensible ways would be to observe and catch up on the latest happenings by going through weekly celebrity glossies and other fashion magazines. This will provide one with an upfront view of the new names in fashion design and the kind of stuff consumers are looking for. This way, you will be able to know where the trend is headed to. Media exerts a considerable influence on the consumer spending and the spending patterns. Although this influence is very powerful, it is often tempered by the economy. So, in order to find out what the fashion conscious consumers are actually searching for and buying, it is worthwhile to make occasional visits to busy retailers’ and various shopping malls in the city. Find time to have chats with the sales assistants in these stores. These sales assistants constitute the frontline force in dealing with the customers. This will have provided them with a unique perspective of the consumers’ needs and expectations.
Other reliable and rich sources of information can be found in fashion forums and online fashion magazines. The highly esteemed magazines of the likes of Elle, Vogue and InStyle have developed fashion forums and consumer forums that are very active. These can prove to be the best indicators in helping you find out the stuff being purchased the most and the upcoming trends and fashion styles. In the earlier periods, the US retailers used to look at European retailers for market trends. But now, more and more US retailers are finding inspiration closer to home. They have realized that there is no dearth of talented designers in their own back yard who are slowly acquiring a loyal following.
To anticipate the latest in trends, one may also subscribe to fashion industry publications including Accessories, Apparel News and WWD. These publications can be real guiding lights especially when you happen to be a boutique owner in a small town who is not in the habit of attending industry trade shows. The websites of these magazines give up-to-date reports on the evolving trends. A lot of fashion related blog sites and online forums hold discussions on what the urban people in major cities are wearing, and these are invaluable sources of information to many. Even if you are an established retailer, periodic researches intended to keep a tab on the latest trends are vital for the profitable functioning of your business.

Help answer the question aboutfashion magazine
Is there a fashion magazine that is just full of clothes and make up? No celebrities or lengthy articles?I am looking for a magazine that just contains trends and fashion. I hate reading about celebrities and relationships and horoscopes and stuff like that, I just want pure untainted fashion!

If your sister wants to be in fashion it's not going to happen in Alabama. You need to be where the big fashion weeks take place – NY, LA or Miami, or where fashion designers and magazines are located. Most fashion models in the US live in NY. So unless your family is willing to move to NY, she's going to have to wait until she's 18 to move there on her own.
For now all I can suggest is that you look for local shops and malls that might do fashion shows and ask them how to become a model. But you'll never get into a Marc Jacobs show or in Vogue if you aren't in NYC.

Don't bother taking classes or paying for any of the online agencies
All you need to do is send photos to or attend open calls at agencies. Here's a list of the top US agencies http://models.com/agencies/top/ Each agency's site will have details on how to submit photos, what type of photos to submit (pay attention because agencies have different requirements and will reject any applications that do not conform) and dates of any upcoming open calls. You are better off attending open calls if possible

If Obama and his cohorts successfully pursue their ideals of taking from those who have wealth, not only will they erode the freedoms we hold dear in the US, they will destroy much of the economic engine that has made the US how relatively wealthy we are.
Business owners(and everyone else!) should do whatever they can to influence their elected representatives to oppose these efforts. If Obama is successful in implementing these policies, the exportation of jobs will increase dramatically. And we will all suffer the consequences.

I'm not a designer but this step by step rule of thumb applies to every venue in life.
1) Take on the attitude of a designer and act the part of a successful one at that, this will get you ready for when it really happens.
2) Start making your designs, make it a hobby and commit to creating new designs and ideas every day and keep portfolios of your work so that when you graduate you will have loads of ideas ready to go. Even if you think your ideas are crap, hang on to them because they can be added on to later, every creation has the potential to be something great. Doing this will give you experience and enhance your creativity and ability to think of cool designs on the spot because you have so many great ideas in your R'epertoire.
3) Exersise your talents in contests. Look up fashion contests you can try out for and do as many as you can, you could even win scholarship money.
4) Read, read, read. Read lots of fashion magazines (get a subscription even) and learn from the big designers. Even though you have your own ideas, see what they're doing out in the world so you can be versatile. Fashion magazines can also be a resource for information on schools, contests and valuable tips.
5) Get whatever jobs you can in the fashion industry, even if you have to start at the very bottom and work your way up, you want to surround yourself with as much of it as you can. Internships are also a good way to go.
6) Research. You need to know what you're doing out there, if you want to work for a company, research the company, the more you know the more impressive you'll be. If you want to start your own business in fashion research that or find what schools offer relevant programs.
You sound like you have the passion for it and that is a very good start. Just remember, the first rule is the most important, you have that and the rest is a piece of cake. I wish you the best.

Tell your friends, and show them the proof.
Adolf Hitler was well-known to have used hypnosis on crowds to gain power in Germany. (Just Google it if you doubt it.) So why cant this happen in America? It is happening.
Now, this document, An Examination of Obama's Use of Hidden Hypnosis Techniques in His Speeches is really spreading. Many people, including young people, are starting to wake up.
Young people have come up with a saying, "Don't drink the kool-aid Obama is pushing on you."
Obama has no accomplishments, we don't know him, he wrote a memoir, he has racist connections, and he is using hypnosis, he thinks he's the Messiah and that he should be in control of the world. We've seen this story before in Germany in the 1930's, haven't we? We know what happened there.
Obama's use of hypnosis in speeches is why:
-nothing sticks to him
-the huge crowds
-the huge money contributions
-the mesmerized effect, especially in young people, who, because of their imaginations are more susceptible to hypnosis (read the document)
-the exorbitant election fraud, rule-breaking and bias in the media
-he gets away with changing every position
-people are calling him the "greatest leader of a generation" with no accomplishments
You have to read this document to understand how his hypnosis works. Logically and rationally, why not get to know this guy a little more before handing the world over to him? Why not wait?
